More than just a restaurant... La Case de L'île Bourbon is a journey... the dishes are excellent and generous! Beware of the spicy sauces 😅 the punches are potent! Everything is delicious! The coconut tart is to die for! All this in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

I wanted to eat goat curry, but I didn't have time this weekend to make a quick trip to Réunion Island... So I booked a table at La Case de L'Île Bourbon in Strasbourg. And I highly recommend this restaurant! The welcome was warm, and the presentation and explanation of the dishes were perfect. If you're in Strasbourg or the surrounding area and you're tired of tarte flambée, sauerkraut, and vol-au-vent... Go and enjoy a change of pace with a Dodo beer and some bouchons (traditional Lyonnaise sausages) ;)

We had a wonderful time as a family! The portions were generous and very tasty. The only slight drawback was that we were upstairs and the music was a little too loud. But that didn't detract from the excellent food at all.

A very pleasant restaurant. The food served is excellent. The prices are more than reasonable, and the food is truly delicious. The sea bream was a particular favorite. Vegetarian options are available and were highly recommended by other diners.

An iconic Strasbourg restaurant offering Réunion Island specialties. It's not very big on the ground floor, so it's best to make a reservation. The waiter is friendly. The menu features Réunion Island specialties, from aperitifs to digestifs. The prices are reasonable; of course, you have to add the cost of the side dish to the price of the main course. Three set menus are also available. We opted for a tasting platter as a starter. It was excellent. For our main courses, we ordered Rougail, chicken curry, and octopus massalé. All three were also excellent and generously portioned. No complaints whatsoever; we had a great evening.

12/05/2026: This is my fourth time having lunch at Bistrot Saint Florent, and I'm never disappointed. The menu is simple yet features quality ingredients, the welcome is warm, and the place is beautifully decorated. In short, it's always a pleasure to come to this wonderful restaurant, whether for lunch with friends or dinner with family.
