An iconic Strasbourg restaurant offering Réunion Island specialties. It's not very big on the ground floor, so it's best to make a reservation. The waiter is friendly. The menu features Réunion Island specialties, from aperitifs to digestifs. The prices are reasonable; of course, you have to add the cost of the side dish to the price of the main course. Three set menus are also available. We opted for a tasting platter as a starter. It was excellent. For our main courses, we ordered Rougail, chicken curry, and octopus massalé. All three were also excellent and generously portioned. No complaints whatsoever; we had a great evening.

Authentic and delicious menu and flavors. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The experience was true to Reunion Island 😊 The waiter was very pleasant and kind. We'll be back!

Despite arriving a bit late, we were able to eat at La Case de l'Ile Bourbon. We enjoyed a dodo (a type of porridge) and bouchons (dumplings), reminiscent of our trip to Réunion Island, before moving on to the tasting platter (bouchon, samosa, shrimp fritter, vegetable achards, etc.) which was more than enough to satisfy our appetites. We will definitely be back!

20/03/2026: Good food. We tried the choucroute and the pork knuckle. Both dishes were quite big. The taste is good. The restaurant atmosphere is missing natural light.
