Restaurant La Case de L'Isle Bourbon sur Strasbourg

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ While passing through Strasbourg, we had the pleasure of discovering La Case – a Creole specialty restaurant located on Grand’Rue, and what a wonderful discovery it was! We are from Réunion Island, and from the very first bite, we rediscovered the authentic flavors of our island. A huge congratulations to the chef and the entire team! The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the dishes a true journey to Réunion. We thoroughly enjoyed the eggplant fritters, the various chili sauces (with a particular favorite being the peanut sauce 🌶️), a delicious goat curry that I hadn't had the pleasure of tasting in a very long time, and an excellent octopus curry that my husband loved. Thank you for keeping Réunion Creole cuisine alive with such passion and generosity. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Strasbourg or to lovers of Réunion cuisine. Very friendly, generous portions, friendly staff

Excellent Réunion Island restaurant. I tried the octopus massalé. It was very well prepared. The portions are generous and the ingredients are high quality.

We haven't had a chance to eat here yet, but the staff were absolutely lovely and took such good care of my friend who fainted yesterday in front of the restaurant! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness; it's rare and precious! We'll be back to try the food soon, and in the meantime, I can already say that the service was outstanding!

10/10 Highly Recommended! First time discovering this restaurant thanks to a colleague. The manager is very friendly and intervened to ask a homeless person to leave because we were dining on the terrace. Welcome & Service: Very warm welcome, responsive, no wait. We were seated almost as soon as the restaurant opened, and there were very few people waiting outside. The service was excellent; they even gave us explanations, which was helpful for beginners like me. Food & Prices: We were a large group (8+ people) and we shared appetizers so we could try some of the dishes together. -We ordered steamed meat dumplings (€8) and samosas (€6) to share. -The main courses were varied; I had beef curry (€14) with saffron rice (€3.50). On average, we spent almost €30-32 per person, including drinks. Summary: A great find! The food was really delicious, especially when shared with friends and family. However, even when sharing, the cost of the dish is unfortunately quite high. That's really the only downside. The manager is very friendly.

No complaints whatsoever, the service was top-notch and on top of that, the terrace was so chill, the food was incredible, it was flawless for my wife and me.
