Restaurant la Choucrouterie sur Strasbourg

We received a very warm welcome and had a wonderful time in a typical setting.

It was good. Not as crowded as in winter.

The waiter was very friendly and professional. The food was good quality, but we had to send our plates back. Unfortunately, the dishes weren't cooked or hot enough, and the plates were cold. A plate warmer would be very useful.

A lovely place, steeped in history, with beautiful lighting, a great menu, excellent cuisine, and local specialties.

Ouch! We had to wait an hour for our first course...

Super convenient if you're going to the Choucrouterie show afterwards! They mainly serve traditional Alsatian cuisine, but not exclusively. There's a fairly wide selection, so everyone will find something to their liking. And it's good and fast! The service is efficient and friendly (Kevin is amazing and everywhere at once). We had a great time at the table and then at the show.

We booked early to be on time for the show. Our meal was served at 7:40 pm. It was incredibly rushed. We arrived at the theater at 8:15 pm and had to take the last available seats. Furthermore, the kidneys arrived without any garnish (the waiter's response was, "The potatoes are still in the oven!"). The carafe of water we ordered with our aperitif never arrived, and there was no salt or bread on the table. It wasn't exactly a relaxing experience, but rather a frustrating one. Moreover, the value for money was no longer there. Luckily, the show lived up to our expectations. We'll come back for the show, but not for the restaurant.

The place is very pleasant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal; however, when the tables are full, the service becomes very slow despite the efforts of the very friendly waiter. They definitely need to increase the number of staff serving.

Efficient and friendly service. Decent food/the dishes could have been a little hotter.

A really great time. The welcome, the food, the service, everything was perfect. A great atmosphere in a unique setting.
