Very good restaurant, Rougail in particular but not only. The service is very pleasant, the owner gives good advice. It's a very beautiful place. Unfortunately in 2 months the team is going very far away for new adventures. Thank you for this lovely moment.

Nous sommes revenus dans ce restaurant que nous avions découvert il y a 2 ans L'accueil d'Emma la patronne est toujours exceptionnel, cette personne à le don de la communication avec ses clients. Le repas est toujours succulent avec des nouveautés de grande qualité. Si vous avez envie de passer un bon moment de gastronomie, allez sur les hauteurs du nord de l'Hérault. Mais ne tardez pas, les exploitants actuels arrêtent leur activité fin octobre prochain.

First of all, congratulations for the cuisine... We went from gastronomic discoveries to taste wonder. But the boss has a way of speaking to customers that resembles school teachers from the 1960s!

We were so fortunate to have found La Clairiere and have the opportunity to enjoy the most amazing lunch. It's a beautiful drive to the restaurant, with exceptional views en route, then the food is first class. Emma is such a lovely host and we had the best experience. It's more than worth the trip.

Very good menu and delicious dishes served 👌 Unexpected and sumptuous appetizers! The atmosphere is cozy in a very green and floral environment. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

On the advice of relatives, we did not hesitate to drive 1 hour to go to this village that we did not know (Cambon, the highest village in Hérault). As soon as we entered the room of the La Clairière restaurant, we received a warm and smiling welcome from the owner. We are already convinced that we were not mistaken. Small appetizers offered while waiting to consult the very varied menu for starters, main courses and desserts, a menu that put us in embarrassment: everything was tempting.  Finally the choice fell on the menu of the day at €32 which was perfect (poultry terrine with foie gras, duck breast and morels with thyme puree, blueberry tart and whipped cream): a real treat, very copious and very well presented. We enjoyed ourselves. Even children are treated to an elaborate menu that goes off the beaten track with nuggets and fries. The decoration is extraordinary, right down to the “bottom of bottle” glasses made by the owner. The decor is everywhere, even in the toilets. A play area for children: everything is thought of. A green village is very pleasant. We will come back to it before November 3, the change date for you for a new life in Reunion. Good luck to you and the whole team. We will miss you.

How can we not recommend this establishment, when we know its immediate environment? Lost in the Epinouse mountains, a stone's throw from the birth of the Agoût river, we find ourselves in a Reunion atmosphere, with quality exotic cuisine, a welcome and a very nice atmosphere.
