The menu was generous. Some dishes could have been improved; the snail arancini was slightly overcooked with a rather strong sauce. The sweetbread and veal kidney fricassee was excellent. We had a lovely time in this magnificent setting steeped in history. The staff were very friendly.

I first came with a friend from abroad a year ago. We returned to celebrate our reunion and were once again captivated by La Couronne – the excellent and very attentive service, and of course, the exquisite flavors of each dish and petit four. It's something special to dine in the oldest inn in France – but when the atmosphere and the taste are equally exceptional, it's simply perfect 🤩 Special mention to the gentlemen waiters who braved the heatwave and wore bow ties and neckties. How elegant! 😉 The fan at our table allowed us to savor the moment and the meal. Thank you!

We had a lovely lunch here. The Normandie menu is nice and tasty. The choice is limited if you choose the set menu, but definitely let yourself be surprised. The food was very delicious. We also had a nice chat with the Dutch owner. The service was sometimes a bit slow, especially when we asked if we could pay. It didn't spoil the fun; it was a really nice experience.

Great place for great meal. Take a look around inside to see all the famous people that have eaten there. Food was outstanding and the wait staff were knowledgeable and helping. Couldn't taste it higher!

We were (very) disappointed with our dinner last night. A friendly but rather incompetent waiter. The turbot was overcooked and dry (microwaved?) for €45 per person!!!
The place is certainly legendary, but please, treat two connoisseurs of fine French cuisine who are just passing through Rouen properly.

Invited for a birthday: satisfactory, but nothing more. The menu was good, but nothing to write home about. There's a gap between the reputation and the reality. Quite frankly, in terms of fine dining, there are much better options in Rouen and the surrounding area. It was refined, but nothing special. One question remains: what is the purpose of the woman at the entrance?
