Le Cargo sur Rouen

Congratulations on this new establishment! We tried it as a family this weekend and it was a great meal. We enjoyed the brand new upstairs dining room with its magnificent view of the Seine. The smash burger and the American/Detroit-style pizza were absolutely amazing! And the homemade pistachio panna cotta dessert was incredible! We'll be back :) PS: It's a shame the covered terrace isn't non-smoking, but that's the case everywhere in the country!

Let's start with the positives: the desserts are very good. Tiramisu, cheesecake... Relaxed atmosphere. Decent but small starters. Reasonable prices. However, the cocktails aren't good (not to our taste anyway, and there were seven of us), the glasses aren't attractive, which also contributes to a low-end impression. The main courses: the burger is good, the pizza (actually, it's focaccia) is good. But the shrimp pasta (five small shrimp per plate is a bit much) needs improvement. But the biggest disappointment is the "burrata knot" salad at €15.90. Personally, I think it's a rip-off because it's the size of a starter, there's too much dressing, the lettuce leaves aren't very fresh, and there's no garlic bread as advertised (see photos). I had to ask for it, and what arrived was so ridiculous it was unjustifiable. It's unacceptable to have such a policy... You'll have to rethink this. Mixed feelings about this new opening. Hoping this feedback will help you improve your "very well located" establishment. I have no doubt there will be some adjustments, which is normal when opening. Good luck with everything.

The food was excellent, a very good experience, and the staff were very friendly. The service was very good, the waiters were very kind, and I would definitely go back. Petite Bura ATA was very good.

A fantastic place where the pizzas are absolutely delicious! 🍕 We had a wonderful time in a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is welcoming, responsive, and attentive throughout the meal. I highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back! Thank you to the whole team. 😊

A completely redesigned place. Great pizza on the Rouen quays. Right bank. Excellent pasta. And it must be great for an afternoon snack (pancakes, sundaes, and milkshakes)! It feels like you're in New York. Italian with an American twist. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. Also a great place for a drink.
