Restaurant la Marine sur Nevers

I had reserved a table on the terrace that morning, but when we arrived for lunch... there was no table, so we ended up sitting in the blazing sun. Anyway, moving on to the food, there was a mistake with the wine 🍷, but the waitress only told us when the bill came... the starter was very good, marinated salmon 👍 followed by mussels (I think we had the last of the pot), practically all empty shells, the mussels were in the broth. Dessert was perfect. When I went to pay, I asked if we could stay on the terrace for a bit to chat, and the woman said no because it might attract other people who would come for a drink, which isn't the case in the afternoon 🤔. A bit frustrating! It used to be better. We paid €70 for two.

Pleasant setting and warm welcome, the food is good but the quantity is a little small considering the price, which makes the menu expensive in the end for €30/person.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was good (especially the homemade dessert) but the portions were a bit small (the mussel pot was only half full and the fries were tiny).

We were very warmly welcomed with our dog. Pleasant setting overlooking the canal. Homemade cuisine; I thoroughly enjoyed the frogs' legs! An address to remember.

Excellent quality food. (Mussels in blue cheese sauce...) Very pleasant staff, especially the owner. Located on the canal and the port.

Closed for holidays, but nine out of 10 people find it very good and convenient.

Tried it on a Sunday at lunchtime, excellent value for money, friendly service, nothing to complain about, a great place. Plus, the owner is very friendly and seems very accommodating.
