An unusual restaurant on a beautifully decorated barge. The welcome and service are efficient and pleasant. Simple but good quality cuisine.

We were warmly welcomed and served by a charming waiter who took excellent care of us from beginning to end. The dishes were beautifully presented; thank you to the kitchen team for the lovely presentation.

Excellent menu and good food. The setting is very pretty. But be warned, this restaurant is more for adults! The waiter went to the restroom and told another customer he had to clean it because there were "disrespectful people" there, clearly referring to my children who had gone in with my partner. They were told there was toilet paper on the floor, even though it wasn't them, as they were under their father's supervision. In short, it's a real shame because if children aren't welcome, it would be good to make that clear.

Excellent value for money, we've been going there regularly for several years, always delicious and friendly, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, very friendly staff. I highly recommend going, you won't be able to do without it! Thank you for the complimentary coffee on our last visit 😊

A must-visit in Sète! I had the pleasure of discovering La Péniche twice: first for a business lunch, then for a romantic dinner. Two completely different atmospheres, but impeccable service and cuisine on both occasions. The welcome is warm, the setting is magnificent, and the concept of having lunch or dinner on a barge adds a truly unique charm. As for the food, the fish, seafood, and shellfish are exceptionally fresh; everything is homemade, and it shows in every dish. The portions are generous, the dishes are perfectly prepared, and the value for money is simply excellent. A very welcome bonus: parking right across the street, which makes access incredibly easy. Whether for a business lunch, a romantic dinner, or a family meal, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. A wonderful discovery that I will definitely return to!
