Climb this monumental staircase and settle into this very beautiful, friendly room, which accommodates a few tables spaced sufficiently apart to preserve your privacy.
The service matches the quality of the dishes served, generous and able to awaken your taste buds. Fresh products, mostly from the region, are simmered by a chef who produces balanced and very tasty cuisine.
A special thank you for the cellar of course, but also for the cheese cart which is worth the detour.
Thank you gentlemen for this good time spent with you.

5 of us ate there on November 10, 2024.
4 adults and 1 child.
We were very pleasantly surprised, both by the taste quality of the different dishes and desserts.
Appreciable service, well-stocked wine list and reasonable prices.
Excellent quality/price ratio. For a town like Montendre this restaurant deserves to be even more recognized.
Menu suitable for a child even 4 years old.

Un régal tout au long de la soirée..
On commence par le champagne et une jolie assiette de charcuterie..ensuite un œuf parfait..hummm belle découverte..on continue avec des st Jacques ou une noix de veau ..miam miam..et on termine par une spécialité charentaise..le brûlot..c est beau à voir...c est super bon au goût..
Donc c était une super soirée qui nous laisse en prévoir d autres aussi agréables. Bravo..

Excellent address! Very pleasant welcome in this old hardware store. We tried the 4-course seasonal menu, it was excellent! Fine cuisine and quality products. I highly recommend.
