Impressive! Seriously, I've been to hundreds of restaurants across Europe, and finding one with such delicious and original dishes at such reasonable prices... I never thought it was possible!

Excellent food and a pleasant setting. One evening in late November, there were only two couples in this restaurant. A very pleasant setting. A warm welcome and an excellent meal. Everything is homemade, right down to the bread. We were even able to buy the wine we had tasted during our meal from the cellar. We're not from the area, but we'll definitely be back on our next trip south. Superb restaurant right in the heart of Montendre. A shop and wine cellar are on the ground floor, with an open kitchen and dining area upstairs. The tables are spaced along the exposed stone walls, creating a chic bistro atmosphere. The menu is short and enticing. A very good Sancerre to accompany the snails with chanterelles, a perfectly seasoned steak tartare as a starter, followed by roast guinea fowl (breast and leg) with braised cabbage. The monkfish and scallops were also delicious. The portions are generous, the sauces flavorful, and the ingredients top-notch. A wonderful experience, with quick and friendly service. €60 per person for a starter, main course, and wine in the evening. Well worth it, we'll be back.
