We had an amazing lunch here as part of a private event. All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend it.

A delightful discovery in the charming Montendre. A charming restaurant with character, featuring an open kitchen and a display of local products on the ground floor, and a striking wooden staircase leading to the first-floor dining room with stone walls and well-spaced tables. We found the magret de canard with foie gras mousse and caramelized cherries truly delicious and original. The hand-sliced ​​tartare accompanied by a perfectly cooked egg was also excellent. The main courses were a delicious guinea fowl supreme with side vegetables and a polenta crouton. The other dish was a risotto with eggplant and tomato confit, good but a bit overcooked for my taste. The dessert was excellent, and above all, we greatly appreciated the well-stocked cheese trolley, offering the option of choosing your favorites. Overall, it was a delightful evening, and I definitely recommend this place.

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the service at Cave La Quincaillerie is exceptional; all the team members are attentive and helpful. The staff are truly knowledgeable about their products and do everything they can to ensure your satisfaction.

We visited yesterday and had and absolutely beautiful meal for our anniversary dinner. The food was exquisite, delicate flavours and beautifully presented. We love that we know the local providers of the ingredients and that the chef makes everything from scratch including his amazing bread. The wine list is interesting and we had a beautiful bio wine. Such a treat. It was a blisteringly hot day but with the air conditioned restaurant it was so comfortable. You can park very close by so perhaps only 100 m from the restaurant. We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. If you’re within 50 km you should try it!!! It’s worth the travel.
