We've been going to this place for several years now and we enjoy it every time. This restaurant is peaceful, the food is excellent, and they always offer great wine recommendations that allow me to explore French vineyards, not just local ones. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, sourced locally, and the menus change with the seasons. Go without hesitation!

This restaurant is a gem in Montendre! I've rarely eaten so well—a starter, main course, and dessert—for 28 euros. The restaurant itself is charming, with its dining room on the first floor of this former hardware store. The ingredients are delicious, the cuisine simple yet expertly executed (a lovely chicken jus, slow-cooked, flavorful vegetables), and the gentleman serving was incredibly kind and attentive. We can't wait to return!

A delightful discovery in the charming Montendre. A charming restaurant with character, featuring an open kitchen and a display of local products on the ground floor, and a striking wooden staircase leading to the first-floor dining room with stone walls and well-spaced tables. We found the magret de canard with foie gras mousse and caramelized cherries truly delicious and original. The hand-sliced ​​tartare accompanied by a perfectly cooked egg was also excellent. The main courses were a delicious guinea fowl supreme with side vegetables and a polenta crouton. The other dish was a risotto with eggplant and tomato confit, good but a bit overcooked for my taste. The dessert was excellent, and above all, we greatly appreciated the well-stocked cheese trolley, offering the option of choosing your favorites. Overall, it was a delightful evening, and I definitely recommend this place.
