The owner, Clément, is very friendly and helpful. A warm atmosphere by the fire in an exceptional setting. The sandwiches and cookies are excellent. An authentic and wonderful place. I highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. I suffered from hypothermia on the descent from the pass. (It's just too cold for this time of year). The bar immediately welcomed me warmly with its fireplace and a cup of tea to warm me up. I highly recommend it; you'll be very well received! Thank you so much!

A classic but high-quality ham and butter sandwich, with good ham and local cheese. Excellent. Simple but satisfying. The homemade cookie for dessert was also perfect. I recommend it after a good hike in the area! Everyone is lovely. Thank you for your hospitality!

A lovely little bar just steps from the hiking trailheads. It has a beautiful fireplace, perfect for enjoying a meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We had an exceptional time at La Ruade. The owners are incredibly friendly and even offered us bread and pâté for the rest of our hike. The beer is delicious, and there are even board games available. I highly recommend this place!

04/09/2026: A full table already suggests a good place to eat. We hadn't made a reservation, but we were lucky. After a charcuterie and cheese platter, we opted for duck confit and beef cheeks. Excellent. Flavorful and generous portions. Many other options available. Very friendly and efficient service! You won't be disappointed.
29/08/2026: Fantastic! The view from the terrace is magnificent! The food is delicious, and the staff is very professional and friendly! I recommend the baked Camembert; it's excellent! Thank you!
