Restaurant la Scierie sur Saint-Folquin

A small, welcoming restaurant, run by Olivier and his partner, where the menu is regularly updated… the dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. During the week, it's best to arrive early as it's often busy.

Great! I was a little disappointed with my main course; the fish was a bit too dry, there wasn't enough sauce, and there were a few too many bones (even though I know perfectly well that fish has bones...). On the other hand, the starter was delicious (Maroilles quiche), and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the mousse. The owner was very kind and helpful. I'll definitely try it again.

We came yesterday as a family for my mom's birthday. The restaurant was beautiful and the decor was magnificent. The staff were very friendly. The menu was well presented and very good, except for the fries that were a little too dry for me. Otherwise, everything was delicious, from starter to dessert, and the price was reasonable. I definitely recommend La Scierie restaurant.

We know why we come here. I find a style of cuisine just like my grandmother's! Sweetbreads, duck breast, tarts of all kinds... What a joy! It's nice to have a restaurant like this nearby. Thank you again!
