Restaurant la Scierie sur Saint-Folquin

We were slightly disappointed when we visited La Scierie restaurant. The menu on their website is unfortunately incorrect or completely outdated. It's a real shame to look at the menu online, imagine what to expect, and then realize once you arrive that the information is wrong. A quick update to their online menu would be greatly appreciated to avoid this kind of frustration for customers.

Simple and efficient restaurant, small menu which guarantees freshness. The set menu offers plenty of portion size. I'll go back if I'm in the area. Just a suggestion for us regarding the fries: avoid overcooking them.

A small, welcoming restaurant, run by Olivier and his partner, where the menu is regularly updated… the dishes are delicious and reasonably priced. During the week, it's best to arrive early as it's often busy.

Great! I was a little disappointed with my main course; the fish was a bit too dry, there wasn't enough sauce, and there were a few too many bones (even though I know perfectly well that fish has bones...). On the other hand, the starter was delicious (Maroilles quiche), and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the mousse. The owner was very kind and helpful. I'll definitely try it again.
