We received a warm welcome from someone passionate about French cuisine. The dishes were delicious, made with excellent fresh ingredients. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A very pleasant and quiet establishment. The welcome is warm and friendly. As for the food, I had a smile on my face throughout the entire meal.

We spent a wonderful couple of hours here and left feeling very spoilt. A menu featuring either lamb or a choice of two fish, all prepared well leaves plenty of opportunity to consider aperos and wine. The restaurant overlooks an accessible, beautiful square with trees and ironwork gates. We were shown to a table with this to look out over. The restaurant decor is calm, immaculately clean and very French but the propriator is the main event! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. When we asked advice, it was given with warmth and understanding and inbetween, service was wonderfully unobtrusive but caring. Best of all, despite our imperfect French, the conversation continued in the language we chose to start it in. You will not be disappointed here. This was great French hospitality and no matter whether you are the manager of the Nantes football club or more ordinary visitors, you will be treated with the same care and attention. A regular at this excellent restaurant. The sea bass with its delicious beurre blanc sauce or the sublime lamb shank are always a delight. We always return with pleasure. Thank you.

The lamb shank was recommended to us. We were very pleased with our lunch. The lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sea bass with beurre blanc sauce was perfect. The sea bass skin was crispy. The chocolate pudding was delicious, and the gourmet coffee was very indulgent! The wine we chose was good, and the service was very pleasant. We will return to try the croque monsieur with beurre blanc sauce.

A truly beautiful establishment. A Nantes institution! Finally, a restaurateur who will serve you beurre blanc in a sauceboat! Quality comes at a price, and it's entirely justified.

The lamb shank...a delight for the palate, its sauce, the melt-in-your-mouth potatoes... The "lamb shank" soft drink was very good, and the tiramisu too. I highly recommend this restaurant.
