We were on our way back from our vacation. We saw this wonderful little restaurant with its inviting terrace and decided to stop. It wasn't early! 2:00 PM. The owner warmly welcomed us, and we gave her an extra challenge since my son wouldn't eat anything on the daily specials board. Mission accomplished! All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Good value for money, homemade, generous, and excellent cuisine; just the way we like it. Thank you both for your welcome, your friendliness, and your professionalism. Don't hesitate... go to this restaurant without delay! It's a shame we live so far away! A thousand thanks, and keep up the good work. Congratulations!
On our way to Autun, we had lunch at L'Alcien. We loved not only the warm and welcoming atmosphere, but also the delicious food and the friendly and attentive service.

Home-style cooking in a warm and inviting setting. Beautifully presented and excellent value for money.
Perhaps a vegetarian option would be a welcome addition to the daily specials.
