Restaurant L'Ardoise sur Mazan

One evening in September during our stay in the Luberon, our hosts recommended several restaurants, and we chose L'ARDOISE in Mazan. We discovered a very pleasant and very clean place (we are also very particular about cleanliness). 👍 Of course, we received a very warm welcome, and our meal was excellent. Thank you to the chef! 👍 The menu had only 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts, just the way we like it. We will definitely be writing a review so our hosts can recommend this restaurant. A charming little place that makes you feel right at home. They offer a limited selection of carefully selected dishes, all cooked with care and attention. You can tell they've put a lot of effort into offering quality ingredients and thoughtful, surprising combinations.

This small restaurant offers a different daily menu, guaranteeing fresh, expertly prepared ingredients. The beautifully presented dishes are simple, but the flavors are definitely there!

A small, beautiful restaurant located in a central square, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent and refined dishes and a large selection of wines, as well as beers. Reservations are essential!

A dilemma arises... the food is very good, I admit, but the service leaves much to be desired, and you'd better not tell the waitress because afterwards she becomes very unpleasant.

The meal was fairly decent, despite the salads being overly salty (really!), and the red wines by the glass being served at room temperature, which made them quite warm given the heat, making them difficult to drink and certainly not what the winemakers intended. There are wine cellars, but apparently not for wines by the glass… A bit more smiles would have been nice too 🙂. All the best to you.
