Restaurant L'Ardoise sur Mazan

A small, beautiful restaurant located in a central square, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent and refined dishes and a large selection of wines, as well as beers. Reservations are essential!

A dilemma arises... the food is very good, I admit, but the service leaves much to be desired, and you'd better not tell the waitress because afterwards she becomes very unpleasant.

The meal was fairly decent, despite the salads being overly salty (really!), and the red wines by the glass being served at room temperature, which made them quite warm given the heat, making them difficult to drink and certainly not what the winemakers intended. There are wine cellars, but apparently not for wines by the glass… A bit more smiles would have been nice too 🙂. All the best to you.

A wonderful little restaurant in Mazan. A lovely selection of fresh dishes – there's something for everyone. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared. Both the waitress and the chef are incredibly friendly, making it a real pleasure to dine there. The restaurant is located right on the street, but there was hardly any traffic in the evening, so it was very quiet. There's free parking in the square opposite the restaurant, both at lunchtime and in the evening. We tried several different dishes, and each one was excellent. The wines are also delicious. We'll definitely be back (and we were there several times). Reservations are highly recommended on some days. A definite recommendation!
