Restaurant L'Aura sur Marmoutier

Absolutely perfect! A huge congratulations to the chef, Christophe.

An absolutely perfect lunch! From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere sets the tone: warm and refined. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, with a smiling and professional team. As for the food, it's a real gem, an elegant menu with wonderful daily specials that showcase the restaurant's expertise. Every dish was excellent, beautifully presented, and delicious. And to complement the meal, the wine list is a real bonus, with a pleasing selection that will satisfy every palate. Surely one of the best restaurants in the area! A place I highly recommend for both lunch and dinner; we'll gladly return!

A remarkable restaurant at this price point, both in terms of atmosphere (relaxed, even when busy), service (although the staff is quite young, they are polite and efficient), and food (a lovely, varied, and delicious menu). It was our first time there yesterday...we'll definitely be back.

On the day of the street fair in Marmoutier, we went to L'Aura for lunch. The menu was limited and it was very busy. Nevertheless, we got a table for two quite quickly. The service was fast and friendly, and the food looked delicious. We highly recommend it and will definitely return. Update from September 6, 2026: We returned to this restaurant to choose from a limited menu due to the street fair, ordering a roast beef and a burger. It was good, except for the overcooked fries. The owner immediately replaced the fries without any fuss. The new fries weren't any better. But we appreciated the gesture, which shows that customer satisfaction is important to this establishment.

Excellent restaurant. The food is delicious and the servers are pleasant. We came with children and were very well received; the value for money is also very good.

We arrived quite late for lunch AND just sat down, in other words: we were the rude tourists! Oops! However! L’aura’s staff was so welcoming and kind to us! We shared a steak tartare and it was amazing! They finished the dish at the table and give you a tasting if it is up to your liking. Exactly what we wanted on this hot summer afternoon. Thank you so much for the delicious food and the wonderful service❤️. Also; the prices are so reasonable, the quality of the meal was outstanding! Parking is easy in the village, so to sum everything up; highly recommended!

The food was excellent, very pretty and delicious! However, the service had many flaws: very long waits, poor-quality dishes, forgotten sauces, etc. All the servers were busy with all the tables, hence the oversights and organizational problems. Each server should manage their own area!

A very warm welcome, perfect service. Delicious dishes. A great find. I'll definitely be back… Much better than many Strasbourg restaurants

A delight every time, a warm welcome, a professional and friendly team :) Thank you for the wonderful moments we spend at your establishment! We recommend it 100%!

A wonderful discovery with delicious dishes and a special mention for the presentation of the plates, adorned with small flowers and delightful seasonal vegetables… it's a shame I didn't take any photos. Thank you for the excellent service; the staff were so kind. I will definitely be back.
