Restaurant Le 27 sur Colmar

What a fantastic restaurant! 😊 After our arrival, we unfortunately couldn't start looking for a restaurant until relatively late (9 pm), but that shouldn't be a problem. Or so we thought... But far from it, everything was closed, and there wasn't a soul around. Luckily, we stumbled upon this unassuming establishment 🥳 Unlike almost all other restaurants, this one actually has proper opening hours, and it's even possible to eat a little later. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we were able to easily order our pizzas without ham. There are also several vegetarian options available 🤩 We finally got to enjoy an excellent tarte flambée, which was even better than in the restaurants in the old town 🤤 The Turkish dishes are also highly recommended 🔝 It was here that we first discovered the wonderful dish Karniyarik outside of Istanbul 😊 The terrace is absolutely fantastic, cozy, and peaceful 🙏 And thankfully, there was no football on 💪 We managed relatively well with my French skills, but English was also no problem 👍 One of the staff members was so happy to see us that he kept waving enthusiastically whenever we returned 😅 Truly warm and welcoming people who make really good food and try to accommodate all requests 😇 Thank you for being our restaurant base during our Alsace vacation 🙏

The only thing missing is air conditioning for hot weather.

Late on a public holiday evening, this restaurant was a lifesaver! We not only got excellent pizza, with special requests easily accommodated, but we also received a super warm welcome. The terrace is really cozy, and we really enjoyed not having to listen to football blaring 😅 A great place to go with some vegetarian options! We'll definitely be back 🙂
