Restaurant "Le 5" sur Menton

A rather mixed review. The rooftop is very pleasant, and the dishes are good, original, and beautifully presented. It's a shame the service is so chaotic. We arrived at 8 pm and left at 11 pm for a starter, a main course, and a dessert, with a 30-40 minute wait between each course. Adding to this was a rather bewildering organization: the wine was brought while we were still having our aperitifs, the aperitif glasses remained on the table throughout the meal, and we were served sliced ​​bread instead. I also had to ask twice for water for my dog, and when it was finally brought to me, the response was: "Here you go, water for the mutt." So much for elegance and professionalism. It's a real shame because the food is excellent and the setting is very nice. But if you want to try it, plan your evening accordingly!

We had dinner as a family last night on the rooftop. The dishes were excellent, so refined and high-quality, as pleasing to the palate as they were to the eye! The service was good, the atmosphere very pleasant with a superb view over the rooftops of Menton and the bell tower! I highly recommend it! Unbeatable value for money!

We received a warm welcome, and our reserved table on the rooftop was as agreed. The staff were both attentive and efficient. The food was carefully prepared and delicious. Despite the crowds due to the World Cup broadcast, we were served promptly. The value for money is excellent. The view of Menton is lovely. We will definitely return.
