Excellent food, generous portions, and the charm of a dining room with a fireplace.
We weren't able to enjoy the outdoor seating this time of year, but the tables by the river make us want to return in the warmer months.
A wonderful surprise in this magnificent riverside setting... 😍 We stopped here by chance in the early afternoon and enjoyed a charcuterie board to share, featuring excellent regional products and delicious homemade desserts for a sweet touch! We'll gladly come back to experience the atmosphere in the summer; it must be fantastic! 👌🤗 Thank you for your warm welcome despite the late hour 🙂
We arrived around 1:50 PM. A gentleman and a lady welcomed us and offered us several options for our dinner.

Arrived at 2:30 p.m. and still served. The cook left, the waitress got to work. For charcuterie lovers, jump on the Auvergne plate, and if you're more of a seafood fan, the crazy salad is what you need. Homemade ice cream. Facing the Sioule River. It must be fantastic in the evening; they've set up sofas, armchairs, and lounge chairs by the water.
However, I understand that the hotel side is closed during the season.
But they all seem so welcoming that nothing is impossible.
The food is good. Plates are always full. The timing is also good; they occasionally ask, "How's it going?"
This is the second time we've been to the restaurant.
This restaurant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I have no idea what the hotel rooms are like, so unfortunately I can't tell you anything about that. You'll have to figure that out for yourself.
