Just arrived in Passy and our landlady recommended Le Bois. A 5 minutes walk in the rain and and so worrh it. Great menu, the restaurant staff speak good English and humoured our attempts at French. Pre dinner drinks were both delicious and reasonably priced as was our 3 course meal..Which together with a 0.5l pichet of Bordeaux red plus 2 x coffee and a pot of tea came to 120 Euro. Too recommendation Angela and Phillipe

We had 45 minutes for lunch, our request was more than accommodated, and we were treated with care. From the main course to dessert, the quality and taste were flawless! The staff was dynamic and helpful. A fantastic place.

🙉The red wine braised beef was incredibly delicious, the best I've had in all my years in France! I was amazed! The meat was especially good; they chose beef shank, and it was so tender and flavorful. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. I really should have come sooner! 🫶

This is where I had my first taste of onion soup, and I have to admit, I wasn't disappointed. It was very good and filling. The beef cheeks were similar. My Irish friends recommended the Chicken Burger, so maybe next time I'm in the area, I'll try something new on the menu.

10/11/2025: Great atmosphere! Superb local food. A paradise for those who want to enjoy a proper aperitif. The staff is attentive, very friendly, and offers kind advice.
15/10/2025: Unfortunately, I didn't have the presence of mind to ask the man who served my partner and me his first name; otherwise, I would have thanked him directly. I had a wonderful time, aside from the fact that the quality of the products is incredible at more than reasonable prices, and, yes, a pétanque court in the basement—that's really too many qualities. I was extremely demanding (annoying) when it came to the wine, and I found more than I was looking for at (once again) a more than reasonable price. We were served a charcuterie board with wonderful, albeit classic, products (my fault, I should have experimented; out of shyness, I didn't). So I left with a won over heart and a smile on my face. I'll be back soon (tomorrow, for example). Thank you, thank you, thank you, and see you soon.
