Superb place, refined setting, simple yet excellent menu. Delicious flavors at a very reasonable price. The waiter/owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ate in a very reasonable amount of time. In short, a very pleasant surprise on our journey! Thank you again, and we'll definitely make it a stop on our north-south trip!

Praiseworthy cuisine in a classy setting, topped off with a warm welcome. We come here again and again. Culinary refinement served in an exceptional mansion by a host who is always available and attentive, all accompanied by the most reasonable prices.

Forty years as a chef/restaurateur, in NYC and Hawaii, I know a little bit about the business. This is, hands down, one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in France. Food was creative and well executed. Bravo to the young chef. Service was friendly, as well as professional. Ambiance, according to my wife (retired designer) is spectacular. All that alone, would rate five stars, but the owner goes a step further. For those of you, in or were in the business, read the owner's response to some of his negative criticisms. He supports his staff, and for me, that rates an extra star. Highly recommend this restaurant.

An absolutely sublime setting! The dishes are so beautifully and carefully presented that you'll already be able to feast your eyes on them, even before you taste them. An experience as visual as it is gustatory, and I highly recommend it. ++ The waitress is very welcoming and friendly.

Les Magnolias

02/10/2024: The young man at the reception of our hotel recommended the restaurants of the pretty Place des Esclafidous with its small central fountain. The Magnolias restaurant was the first that we tried the evening of our arrival in Nîmes. The young waitress who welcomed us was efficient and very pleasant. We chose the starter + main course + dessert menu at €39. The dishes served were quite good and well presented but we were surprised to have to pay €1 extra per carafe of filtered water. During our stay in Nîmes, it was the only establishment that we saw practicing this not very commercial measure.
23/09/2024: Very nice, small and personal restaurant with delicious food. When the weather is nice, there is an outdoor area protected from the wind and sun. The service was very attentive, super friendly and advised us on our selection. Menu available in French, English and Spanish.
