We fell in love with this small, charming hotel which combines the character of the old with a tasteful renovation. Welcome and pleasant service concerned with the well-being of customers. Beautifully decorated room and quality bedding. The large room is magnificent, and the breakfast is complete and well presented. It is also possible to sit in one of the small lounges available with books and games. Ideal hotel location on the edge of historic Brive, and close to many restaurants and bars. We would have loved to stay longer!

A great discovery in Brive. Welcome and service with a smile, lots of character for this old building with careful decor, a beautiful and large breakfast room with beams and a large old-fashioned fireplace. Good location with private parking right in the center with a large choice of restaurants within walking distance. It’s a change from the large, impersonal hotel chains. To recommend.

Cet hôtel est très bien placé par rapport au centre historique. Il bénéficie d un petit parking privé et gratuit ce qui n est pas négligeable..la bâtisse est très bien conservée et l interieur c est très sobrement décoré. La salle du petit déjeuner est spacieuse et très belle. Pas d ascenseur..Les chambres sont petites. Cabine de douche trop petite et pas de prises au chevet. Bonne literie... Personnel souriant et agréable.

03/04/2024: Excellent place where the food is of high quality not to mention the setting not to be missed! (And if the one or those with whom you share this delicious meal bore you, all you have to do is look at the walls, you will have something to occupy yourself!) Top notch service! The 35th tourist menu is really good value for money! I recommend and above all advise you to make a reservation because you risk being disappointed to miss out on this restaurant!!!
28/01/2024: 50s atmosphere. We expect to meet Simone de Beauvoir, Sartre. We feel the experience among the owners. Are customers booboos? Very well eaten, homemade. Super Floating Island! Good red wine from the region, surprising.

15/02/2024: Despite its appearance from the outside, this place reveals a charming and welcoming setting inside, with attentive staff and talented cooks. However, on Valentine's Day evening there seemed to be some disorganization as we had to wait 45 minutes before receiving our drinks, while the two couples next to us were also complaining about the wait. In addition, we had to send a dish back to the kitchen (just like the couple next door) because the veal was not cooked enough. Despite these inconveniences, the special Valentine's Day menu was original and well prepared. I highly recommend this place and plan to return in the future.
