Restaurant Le Château sur Chateaudouble

Had a delicious meal with friendly service. It can take a bit longer, but the view makes up for it.

This evening we were able to fully enjoy a beautiful view from the terrace, while very tasty and beautifully presented food was served to us. The ice cream for dessert was also an absolute highlight to finish off with. All this at a very reasonable price. So it was fantastic, for which we thank you.

Arriving in this charming village at the tip of the Var region, I was welcomed onto a lovely shaded terrace with a superb view by the manager, who treated me to a simple, runny omelet with a smile and genuine kindness. A place worth discovering!

Beautiful location, stunning panoramic views from the terrace, and the discovery of new dishes

We went to the restaurant with family and friends. Reservations are highly recommended, as we were almost the only guests, but we felt very comfortable. Lovely location in the heart of a charming mountain village.

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT + IMPRESSIVE + BEAUTIFUL, QUIET PANORAMIC TERRACE ● This very hardworking, thoughtful, and friendly owner particularly impressed us in France. ● The well-maintained panoramic terrace was 100% full upon our arrival – a beautiful view with a light and pleasant breeze in the shaded area. ● We were asked to wait 20 minutes and highly recommend making a reservation. ● Our meals were very good, and our special requests were also accommodated. * Despite the service stress, all drinks were poured! * Automatic water and baguette service until dessert. ● After lunch, we were impressed by the other restaurant spaces in the building. ● If we are ever in the area again, we would love to be pampered so kindly and warmly once more. I wish this very hardworking owner continued success and encourage ALL GUESTS TO MAKE RESERVATIONS so that staffing levels can be adjusted in advance.

My daughter had booked for Mother's Day. I recommend this restaurant; the food was very good, and the setting was very pleasant with an impressive view. The manager was very friendly and efficient.
