Restaurant Le Fantin Latour sur Grenoble

A moment of romantic sharing and exchange at Stéphane Froidevaux's restaurant. My wife always has reservations when we go to an establishment of this caliber because she doesn't like the "farty" service. The team is young but gets the job done. They know their stuff well, but it lacks a bit of "spontaneity" that would make the experience even more unique (you can let loose a little even in a Michelin-starred establishment), which allows those unfamiliar with the "protocols" to feel at ease. In the kitchen, the cooking is mastered, the pairings are precise and well-thought-out. Not a single false note in the endless list of creations we tasted. We had a wonderful time and will be back (this was my case even before the Michelin star).

A very pleasant lunch on the terrace with friends in the shade of the linden tree. Very pleasant setting and impeccable service. Very good dishes, full of flavor; I recommend it.

Very good meal for my birthday in a magnificent, calm and bucolic setting although in the city center. (fountain, lawn, flowers and birds) Lunch menu for all prices, for all tastes, vegetarian or not. Pleasant staff, waiters with good advice. Discovery of usual dishes cooked with refinement and new combinations. Very pleasant meal, good, friendly and intimate time. I will come back with pleasure

Excellent flavors from starter to dessert. All dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared. From the cooking of the meat/fish to the flavors of the ingredients and sauces, it was flawless! It should be noted that the dishes are also substantial. All this in the peaceful garden setting with very pleasant staff. We will definitely be back. A big thank you for this masterpiece, which clearly stands out from many other Grenoble restaurants.

A moment suspended between signature cuisine and sunset We were already captivated during our previous family visit to the brasserie version of Fantin-la-Tour. This time, we discovered the gourmet version, and it's simply incredible. We had the chance to dine in the garden, with a magnificent view of the sunset—a soothing and refined setting that further enhances the experience. The service is exemplary: discreet, attentive, and perfectly orchestrated throughout the meal. The dishes are inventive, precise, and deeply inspired by the chef's unique style. Each plate expresses a strong identity, both elegant and bold. A must-visit address in Grenoble, to be discovered and rediscovered without hesitation.

We ate at the terrace during mid day, the place is absolutely beautiful. Food was average, lunch menu was way better quality/price than a la carte. Service is slow. One of our main course was missing the truffle sauce and the waiter insisted that the sauce was on the plate and that's it. The final bill had approx +100€ mistake. Perhaps coffee offered or apologises like normally in this level places but here they would not do that. Strange experience over all.

A superb setting, a delicious meal, pure bliss. BUT, this Saturday lunchtime, there was only one vegetarian option on the menu... (a plate of vegetables and legumes). Having a choice of two or three dishes would be a step forward, something many restaurants have already adopted!

It's always a great pleasure to find yourself in this peaceful little park to discover the chef's new culinary creations. From starters to desserts, the magic happens with subtle, delicate combinations that raise many questions quickly answered by a smiling and attentive staff. A big congratulations to this wonderful team who offer us a moment of happiness.
