We booked a table for four at the restaurant last night and had a wonderful time! Despite the restaurant being full, we were served in exactly 10 minutes, which was really appreciated. The dishes were excellent, as were the desserts. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish; there's absolutely nothing to criticize about the food. The service was also top-notch: quick, efficient, and very pleasant. A special mention goes to the waitress who took care of our table, with her hair tied back (I'd say blonde/light brown 😄): she was absolutely lovely, very kind, and particularly efficient. A great place to eat in Colmars; we highly recommend it! Absolutely fantastic!

After a 5-hour hike, I was happy to take a lunch break, even though it was almost 2:30 pm. The daily special and the goat cheese salad were very good, as was the apple tart.

The waitress was unpleasant, incompetent, and seemed overwhelmed. The location was quite nice. The prices were rather high for ice cream.

Pleasant restaurant, we ate on the terrace. Very good service, responsive and very friendly staff. Generous portions. One small drawback: the toilets 🚻 are close to the kitchen and don't have toilet seats.

Au Vieux Meillonnas

26/09/2026: Our favorite restaurant! Surprise birthday for my wife. A special menu was created for the occasion! I requested some changes shortly beforehand, and everything was done exactly as I asked. This included the presentation to ensure a complete surprise. The meal was delicious, and everyone in attendance (20 people) complimented us, which I'm sharing with you here... The owners and staff were very welcoming and pleasant, with a special mention for the two young women who served us. They did everything they could to make sure everything went smoothly (in French and English) and even took photos for us. We already knew and loved this restaurant under the previous owners, but I personally think it's even better now. Perhaps even more welcoming. Well done and thank you for making this moment possible. Until next time...
