Restaurant Le France sur Villers-Le-Lac

Die Bewertung fällt zweiteilig aus: Das gastromische Menü ist raffiniert konzipiert und gekonnt umgesetzt - zu den genannten "Sinnen" gibt es nette Zwischengänge. Essen = 5 Punkte! Der Service gestaltete sich merkwürdig: Das dreiköpfige Team bestand aus der etwas hektischen Oberkellnerin, welche mit Freude die Menübestellungen aufnahm. Für die Apéros verwies sie uns an den einen Herrn, der seine Sommelier-Rolle aber nur für die Aperitive wahrnahm und zur Weinbestellung auf Kollegin Nummer 3 verwies. Diese war sehr freundlich und bemühte sich redlich um uns, war allerdings von den anderen (anscheinend in der Hackordnung höher stehenden) in dauernder Hektik gehalten. Als für jene der spannenden Teil des Abends vorbei war, überließen sie ihr die Versorgung der gut ausgelasteten Wirtsstube bis an ihre physischen Grenzen - sie konnte einem Leid tun. Das gelegentlich auftretende Durcheinander nahm uns bisweilen die Aufmerksamkeit für Zwischengänge und das eigentlich vorhandene Feuerwerk kreativer Geschmäcker. Schade - leider unterm Strich diesmal nur Durchschnitt.

Excellent stay: the decor of the restaurant is very nice with large white clouds floating above the tables. The kitchen is top notch. Very warm welcome also at the hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms. Copious and quality regional breakfast buffet. We will come back

In a word: perfect, Living up to our expectations, the menus around the 5 senses were a wonderful discovery for us. Don't hesitate for a single second. Little more, thank you to the Chef for showing us around this pretty wine cellar.

Nous sommes revenus dans cet établissement 13 ans après l'avoir découvert. Ambiance conviviale, décor chaud avec beaucoup de bois, des touches de verdure et du métal. Nous avons dégusté le menu 5 sens et très séduit par le menu proposé. Tous nos sens ont en effet été sollicités et des associations inédites proposées. Mention spéciale pour l'ouïe. Nous reviendrons

Superb experience with friends in this haute couture restaurant. We enjoy the wonderful combinations of flavors and colors, original and inventive cuisine, an explosion in the mouth with each dish. Very pleasant, nicely decorated setting. Very smiling staff. The Chef and his wife give this beautiful place its letters of nobility. Absolutely worth discovering if you are in the region.
