Le Jarrousset in Virargues is a well-established institution in the Cantal region, its reputation preceding no doubt. Chef Jérôme Cazanave takes exceptional care of his guests. The welcome is warm and the service impeccable. The cuisine is inspired and captivates with its refinement. Local produce is given pride of place, right down to the locally sourced tableware. The wine cellar is truly exceptional. The 700 or so labels are well worth exploring, perhaps even several times. Without hesitation or reservation, Le Jarrousset lives up to its excellent reputation. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.
