Restaurant Le Lift sur Orleans

Overall we were satisfied, starter, main course, dessert, nothing to complain about, service too, downside the waitress came with the cheese platter without telling us it wasn't included in the menu, €14 for 3 pieces of cheese, we didn't appreciate discovering it when the bill arrived, it's a shame.

The menu service was a bit abrupt, but the restaurant was very good and the portions were very generous. I recommend it.

Arriving late with my fiancée without a reservation, we received a very warm welcome and were seated on the terrace before being offered an aperitif and delicious amuse-bouches. The service was impeccable, and our plates were all cleaned down to the last drop of sauce. We opted for the two-course menu, choosing the asparagus and foie gras starters from the à la carte menu, followed by the veal prepared two ways and the French seafood platter, also served in two courses—and what a delight! A highly recommended spot in Orléans for fresh, flavorful cuisine in a pleasant setting! Thank you to the team; we had a wonderful time enjoying our late lunch. 👌

We had dinner at Le Lift in Orléans, and it was an exceptional experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers a superb view of the Loire River. The service was impeccable: the servers were perfectly knowledgeable about what they were serving, quick, and attentive. We didn't have to wait at all, despite the restaurant being almost full. The sommelier was fantastic and recommended an excellent wine. As for the food, it was simply excellent. The flavors were perfectly balanced and subtly combined. For my starter, I chose the foie gras, while my partner opted for the egg. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The main course was served in two courses, with a cold preparation followed by a hot one surrounding the veal. The cooking was perfect: pink for my partner and medium for me. The dessert, combining chocolate, raspberry, and mint, literally melted in the mouth. We will return with great pleasure and recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly. A must-try restaurant in Orléans, not to be missed.

The outdoor setting is delightful, and the restaurant's decor is original. The service was excellent. I can't comment on the food as it was a large group and the set menu wasn't necessarily to my taste. However, I will definitely return as soon as I'm back in Orléans for a non-business trip.

Superb restaurant, refined cuisine, pleasant service. The extra touch that's really appreciated is the chef coming to greet his customers at the beginning of service and again when it's time to pay. It was lovely to chat with Mr. Bardau and compliment him on my delicious, gourmet, yet generous meal 😋.

Delicious food, generous portions, a simple yet elegant setting in a vibrant neighborhood. Impeccable and friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and the culinary experience.

Group lunch (15 people). Excellent food from start to finish. For my part: asparagus as a starter, pollock fillet with spelt risotto, followed by a chocolate fondant. Special mention to the pastry chef 👌🏽 I highly recommend it. The only slight downside: my husband ordered a glass of champagne at the end of the meal… which he never received.

Everything was perfect; we truly enjoyed the generous, delicious, and refined cuisine. The decor was both original and elegant. For me, one of the best restaurants in Orléans.

The carrot medley, the pavlova, and the canelés alone are worth the trip: a true delight for the taste buds. The welcome is warm, the staff attentive and smiling, and the view of the Charpenterie gardens or the Loire River is very pleasant. However, the decor struck me as somewhat dated and out of step with the quality of the food. The plastic chairs and the slightly old-fashioned black and white ambiance don't do justice to the cuisine. As someone from Orléans who has known the restaurant since its opening, I am convinced that a redesigned setting worthy of the chef's talent would restore this excellent establishment to its former glory.
