A top restaurant!! We ate really, really well, with exquisite local flavors and at a more than reasonable price! A real treat! Also, we were very well received, an adorable, pleasant and very kind lady, a great time thank you!!

The golden lion or the golden smile...
The boss is welcoming, smiling, friendly, energetic. She is helped by 2 little hands that are just as active (wink for Lara). The smile of the kitchen is on the plate: it's good, it's plentiful and all that for excellent value for money.
In short, a must-see restaurant in St Chely! We will return. 😁🏍️🏍️

Tasty, hearty dishes... NEVER ORDER CHARCUTERY POTENCY. It's an ambush, a madness.
We had an excellent time, friendly and full.

Midday lunch for 2 people, very good value for money (€18 starter/main course/cheese/dessert). Quality, local, copious dishes, all served quickly, with professionalism and good humor. To recommend without hesitation!

Stopped at St Chély, going up from Aveyron towards Clermont Ferrand by the national 9. Good quality cuisine, served by the owner connected to 10,000 volts who seems to have 18 arms! Here everything is homemade and it feels straight on the plate. What a treat!

After being refused in several restaurants in a neighboring village (full because of market), we were welcomed at the Lion d'or late with a smile and humor, despite the large number of tables already served. The dishes served were of high quality and well cooked. We were advised on the wine and in the end we had a great time. To top it all off, we were able to take our time for lunch and chat for a while with the boss. A big thank you for this much appreciated stopover between Haute Loire and Aveyron.
