Restaurant Le Parvis sur Orange

When I go to Provence, I go to the Parvis.

On our way back from the Alps, we were seized by a sudden and unexpected craving for a gourmet stopover to enjoy a seasonal food and wine pairing! A table was found for us at the last minute, just before closing time! A huge thank you to the chef of Le Parvis and his entire team for this special moment in this enchanting and, of course, air-conditioned setting, just steps from the Roman Theatre of Orange!

We had lunch at Le Parvis on Sunday, August 2nd, and had a wonderful time. Despite the heat, the terrace remained particularly pleasant, shaded by trees and parasols in a peaceful setting, just steps from the Roman Theatre. It's the perfect place to enjoy a summer lunch. As for the food, everything was excellent: beautifully presented and delicious dishes, high-quality ingredients, perfectly cooked, and flavor combinations that beautifully showcase Provençal cuisine. Special mention should also be made of the set menus, which offer remarkable value for money. The service also deserves praise: friendly, attentive, professional, and efficient, contributing to a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. In short, a truly wonderful restaurant where you take as much pleasure in enjoying the food as in the setting. A stop we wholeheartedly recommend when visiting Orange.

We were also surprised by reading the reviews and the actual quality of the dishes. For us, it was substandard; perhaps it is due to the high season. The host, on the other hand, is very friendly.

A very nice establishment with delicious food. The only slight disappointment was the kir, which lacked blackcurrants! But everything else was perfect, including dessert!
