Calm atmosphere. I had an excellent flank steak, and don't even get me started on the gourmet coffee!

FSMO General Assembly January 18, 2026 90 people. The staff was attentive, helpful, welcoming, and always smiling. The meal was very good and generous, offering excellent value for money. Saturday evening's meal was excellent, with beautiful presentation. Sunday lunchtime's cocktail menu for 90 people was enjoyed by all the guests. The freshness of the ingredients and the presentation of the cocktail were praised by the guests. We were in a friendly and welcoming venue. The cuisine is refined and beautifully presented, with delicious dishes. The atmosphere is elegant, perfect for a business lunch.

We had dinner at Le Patio inside the Ibis Styles Poitiers Nord and honestly it was a cracking little surprise. We both went for the pumpkin velouté or however you spell it and it was absolutely spot on. Warm, silky, full of flavour, the sort of bowl that makes you forget you have a long drive the next morning. The girls went for a burger and the fish and chips. The burger was a proper winner. My three year old demolished it with the sort of enthusiasm usually reserved for birthday cake, which tells you everything. The fish and chips were lovely and crispy and actually tasted fresh rather than the usual hotel-restaurant afterthought. For my main I had the entrecôte with mashed potatoes and gravy, medium rare. It came out exactly right and was genuinely sublime. Tender steak, smooth mash, proper gravy. No fuss. No nonsense. Just good cooking. Overall, a fantastic dinner and loads better than you would ever expect from a hotel restaurant on a travel stop. Highly recommended.
