RESTAURANT LE PEROUSIN sur Cagnes-Sur-Mer

Wow! Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service. We had a bottle of the house red wine, fish stuffed ravioli in beurre blanc, duck and prawns with the house sides of the day (julienned spring veggies, mashed sweet potatoes, and fresh French fries). All were homemade and you get a great romantic experience of seeing the fire where the proteins are prepared. We were also offered an amuse bouche of chickpea flour pancakes, local to the area and with a healthy punch of salt. Do not skip dessert! We indulged in a sweet dessert wine and the best chocolate mouse we have ever had - a special recipe of the chef. We had the great experience of talking to the owners, a charming husband and wife duo, about food, France, and life. This restaurant is a can’t miss gem for locals and travelers alike.

Expect a miliary experience on the service front. Once you get over that it is a unique experience with very good food...

Superb place. We went there for dinner and the meal was excellent, with a mention for the tender rack of lamb, the perfect fish when cooked. We had a lovely evening and the owners are extremely friendly. Perfect service.

We arrived with no reservation and was warmly accepted, The food was delicious The service was great and the chef was very nice, The food has a small selection, We ordered a salad and ravioli that was great And a fish that was very good.

Had the most magical, special dinner and experience tonight. Amazing food, wonderful conversation, couldn’t have loved the evening more. Highly recommend!!
