We were able to enjoy a truly wonderful moment for our Easter Sunday with my sweetheart 🫶 The veal sweetbread timbales with their creamy white wine sauce were generously served—a real treat, accompanied by a good Bourgueil served by the glass, but not from a dirty bottle, as is the case in many restaurants where the wine is poured in the kitchen and the glass arrives at the table... leaving you wondering, 😉🤔🤔, if this is indeed the wine you ordered. The next course was a real delight: the pike-perch fillet with its lemon-based sauce, a small compote of green artichokes, and crushed potatoes—a real treat. Furthermore, and I must emphasize this, the plates arrived hot, and the meal itself was also hot—a real plus. Accompanied by a small glass of white wine from the Southwest, it was a gem. The gourmet coffee was just as good as the lunch. The owner was incredibly kind, and the servers were very attentive. Professional and friendly. The outdoor garden and terrace overlooking the Creuse River complete this wonderful rural and culinary experience... Thank you to the whole team 👍👏👏😉. We will definitely be back.
While traveling through southern Indre and northern Creuse, I booked a table and stopped for lunch by chance at the restaurant "Le Petit Roy" in the town of Le Menoux, near Argenton-sur-Creuse. What a discovery! A simple and warm welcome. A place where smiles are the order of the day. What delicious culinary moments, both savory and sweet. The veal fondant and its accompaniments were simply succulent! A cuisine that showcases quality, homemade products, a cuisine that respects its customers! Congratulations to the chef, and congratulations to the owner and the waitress for their kindness. So stop by! Take your time! I will definitely be back. Simply brilliant.
We were passing through to see Carrasco's works. We had lunch at Le Petit Roy. Friendly welcome. Pleasant place and very good food. I recommend this establishment.
