When you drive past, it isn't immediately inviting; the back is much cozier, and in the background, you can hear the Creuse flowing while you sit and eat. Had a delicious lunch; I had a tender roast beef with peppercorn sauce, and the salad with warm goat cheese was also excellent.
A successful experience overall; the food was decent, but the meat was a bit dry.
The service was quick but hesitant.
The setting is pleasant and unpretentious, and the tables are well-spaced.
A magical place! We enjoyed our meal from start to finish, accompanied by the Reuilly Sorbes wine. We received a very warm welcome from the chef and will gladly return. Just one small point: the terrace could use some maintenance. Keep it up!
