Passing between Cantal and Brittany, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. It's simple, with a lovely flower-filled terrace. It's peaceful; you can hear the birds and the sound of the river. The tables are well-spaced. The waiter is very friendly. And the food... simply delicious! The prices are €8.50 for a starter, €18.50 for a main course, and €7.50 for dessert. I highly recommend it.
When you drive past, it isn't immediately inviting; the back is much cozier, and in the background, you can hear the Creuse flowing while you sit and eat. Had a delicious lunch; I had a tender roast beef with peppercorn sauce, and the salad with warm goat cheese was also excellent.
