Restaurant Le Phare sur Palavas-Les-Flots

While passing through Palavas with my girlfriend, we made a detour to this restaurant and frankly, we weren't disappointed at all. The service was quick and friendly, the food was good and plentiful, and the view was truly magnificent.

We had a very good meal, the service was impeccable and what a view! I recommend it.

A superb moment in a magnificent setting and exquisite cuisine.

We had lunch with friends on a Sunday. It was our first time discovering this restaurant perched on the 12th floor with its 360° panoramic view made possible by the revolving table. If you're afraid of heights, you might not have a great time. Personally, it didn't bother me. The service was quick despite the crowd, even though our order was taken a little late. The tables are quite close together, which meant that when the waiter came to clear the table behind me, he kept bumping into my seat. Despite this, the staff were very attentive and friendly. I really appreciated the revolving table, which meant that you never had the same view of Palavas or the center of the tower during your meal. Only the edge of the restaurant rotates, leaving the center, where the open kitchen is located, fixed. I think the complete revolution takes at least 1 hour 15 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes; the movement is very gentle, so it's not unpleasant at all. The price is high, but the dishes are well-prepared. The menu choices are limited, which is generally also a sign of quality. We chose the tasting menu. For starters, a salad of breaded goat cheese and smoked duck breast with arugula and a honey vinaigrette. For the main course, duck breast with a chestnut honey sauce. The meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. The unexpected drawback is having to pay for access to the restaurant at the base of the tower. We weren't informed of this when we made the reservation, but the host at reception accepts credit cards.

Wonderful cocktails, delicious and generous portions – an excellent experience that delighted all my guests. The only downside was the restrooms, which were not up to the standard of the restaurant and were in dire need of a major renovation.

Everything is in place for a pleasant time. Extraordinary view, high-quality and delicious food, friendly and attentive staff.

A wonderfully pleasant restaurant with a beautiful decor. The cuisine is sophisticated, with delightful flavors and exquisite presentation. We're regulars and never leave empty-handed. Keep up the good work!

Unique place, lovely waiter, delicious food, the only downside is the price of the elevator, 18 euros for 6 people, outrageous!
