Very good restaurant to have a good time on a summer evening by the lake, it was good (perch + fries) with an assortment of sauces, it's hard to miss that, the quantity was there, the service was good also, I love the pirate-themed decor. Afterwards, yes, the prices are a bit for tourists with extra parking because it's Yvoire... So I find some comments rather harsh.

Good restaurant, quiet, good food, great time spent with family Blanc Savoie crepy, excellent waitress, very friendly, All that's missing is the smile and welcome from the boss upon arrival and everything is perfect.

The restaurant is well located. The welcome is there. The staff as well as the boss take great care. The jovial, relaxed but serious atmosphere. The only downside is the McCain fries. We will return with pleasure.

Yvoire was my last touristy thing before heading back home to Australia. It was on the way to the airport and people told me it shouldn’t be missed. I intended to get lunch and wanted to “get it right” after a bad pick for lunch in Lausanne the previous day. I used the stroll around the village to check out a few places, and found this place with a nice view of the harbour. There are better sounding restaurants in Yvoire but this one seemed to have a large group of local people so I took that as a a good sign. A young waiter (didn’t get the name but originally from Reading in the UK, which helped with my limited proficiency in French) was very attentive with menu and drink order. I got the perch with fries and salad (Perch came in 4 different ways and there was also brown trout and other seafood on the menu). To be honest the perch wasn’t overly tasty but it was small fillets and cooked nicely. Chips were great and there was a large salad with a lovely dressing. With a nice beer. The total came to €38 which was better pricing than som of the other Yvoire restaurants, although it seems a bit more expensive here than other places probably due to its tourist reputation.
