I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel/restaurant where our pets are welcome and the reception is warm and friendly. It's a quiet, relaxing place located in the hills above Guéret. The breakfast was excellent, the room was spotless, and the view was superb. Thank you to all the very friendly staff. I highly recommend this establishment. Sincerely.

The room was very clean. The service was impeccable. The dinner was very good. However, there was too much internal noise in the hotel-restaurant for me (phones, slamming doors, shouting, etc.). On the other hand, the hotel and restaurant's location is convenient (little traffic) and quiet.

While passing through the region, we enjoyed a delicious meal. The staff recommended an excellent Flammekueche, followed by a delightful sauerkraut and a generous ham hock with cream and mushrooms! The welcome was very warm, the staff attentive, and the value for money excellent. We highly recommend it!

Friendly telephone reception. Very warm welcome upon arrival despite the late hour. Good, generous cuisine. The room: simple but functional, comfortable bed, very clean, cozy, and quiet. I recommend this establishment without hesitation. The extras are the free parking and the excellent value for money.

Quiet location. Very clean room. Perfect amenities: kettle, tea, and coffee in the room. Excellent food (homemade Alsatian specialties); the crispy flammekueche was delicious. Warm welcome from the owners and staff. A fantastic stay.

The room was very clean and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like coffee and tea. I had announced a late arrival, and a cold meal was immediately offered in my room. There is parking available, and the restaurant is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

15/02/2026: A wide selection of hot dishes, pizzas, grilled meats, and unlimited vegetables, as well as desserts and appetizers. All portions are generous. The lasagna was prepared with a very good tomato sauce. A béchamel sauce would have been preferable to a beaten egg mixture on top of the gratin. Service was quick and efficient.

28/12/2025: Excellent restaurant. Refined setting. They offer a set menu for €65 and another for €45. À la carte dishes are also available. The wine list is classic. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The flavors and seasonings are just right. The service is professional and attentive. We were served a little too quickly for my liking. The "mid-course drink" offered after the starter would have been better served after the main course. It's a wonderful restaurant that I highly recommend. However, I suggest calling ahead as it seems the restaurant might be closing. Happy retirement to the owner...
17/12/2025: It's a shame that this establishment is closing permanently on December 31st.
