We stayed Saturday and Sunday after a mountain biking trip. There were seven of us. We had a wonderful time. Aurélien and Aline were fantastic! 👍 They were kind, helpful, accommodating, and always available. And the food 😋—everything homemade with love, a real treat! 🥰 A place to recommend without hesitation! 👏

Small, very clean hotel, excellent breakfast, a good stop on the road to Vendée!

Small rooms with separate shower and toilet, but a very good bed. The staff also seems to speak really only French, but eventually you do manage to understand each other. Apparently, the food is good there, but we didn't end up eating there. They even deliver food on request at times when the restaurant is closed. Safe and quiet neighborhood, and your car is parked in the free parking lot behind the hotel.

We were delighted to stay at this hotel. We only stayed one night, and the neighborhood is quiet. The breakfast was fabulous; it's rare to find such a wide selection and such high-quality service. We highly recommend this hotel.

The welcome was attentive and kind. The room was very clean, and the mattress and pillow were comfortable. Finally, a varied, plentiful, and delicious breakfast. An excellent stay.

The employee's welcome was friendly and warm, despite the owner being rather self-important. The restaurant wasn't worth the price. I ordered a dish of four or five pieces of fish, and I found it overcooked and tasteless, like a ready-made meal from a supermarket chain. I should mention that I'm used to eating fresh fish. The accompanying cabbage, however, was good. My husband had sauerkraut: a mediocre dish with an undercooked sausage. As for the €14 breakfast, we were left wanting more. There was very little bread, no choice, a few mini-croissants and mini-chocolate croissants, a few slices of ham, and yogurt under a non-refrigerated dome. For that price, we expected a substantial breakfast, which wasn't the case. As we were leaving, we were hit by cigarette smoke from the employee who was standing outside the door. First thing in the morning after breakfast, it's nauseating. The only positive point was that we slept well in a clean room.

Simple hotel. Family atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. The food is very good. Overall, a very good impression.

A very pleasant short family stay at the hotel. The welcome was very friendly, and the meals were enjoyable with plenty of choice. The homemade dishes were excellent. I recommend this establishment and will gladly return.

A small, comfortable hotel with a professional, family atmosphere and good food featuring Alsatian specialties. The establishment was taken over a few years ago; I've stayed there twice and it's truly a lovely place to relax, whether for a short break or as a base for exploring the region. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the town center. The wines are from Alsace, and the Pinot Gris is excellent. Remember to book ahead; locals from Guéret also know the address for the restaurant! The cheeses are divine!
