The setting is a bit rustic, but the quality of the service and the bouillabaisse are impeccable.
For me, the warm welcome and delicious food are the top priorities. No frills, just pure pleasure for the taste buds.
The waiter creates a lively atmosphere; you feel right at home. A place to recommend and not to be forgotten.

First visit to this restaurant and just falled in love with. Many good feedbacks posted - all truth. Food, service, atmosphere exceed the expectations. Rare pearl nowadays. Fish soup is criminally marvelous, enormous recipient for two, we were given the rest to take away. Main dishes followed just smashed us with the great taste. Great job, guys! Will be happy to come back.

For once, I'll be very brief...
A truly warm and excellent welcome.
A retro 1950s dining room with a view of the small fishing port of Les Salins d'Hyères, where you feel right at home.
Impeccable, attentive, friendly, and highly professional service.
Authentic southern French cuisine with a true chef, featuring a marvelous bouillabaisse with all kinds of rockfish and an all-you-can-eat fish soup that eclipses all the competition.
And what can I say about the sea bream? It's truly fit for a king! The only slight weakness is the desserts, and even then...
Le Pothuau remains, by far, the must-visit restaurant on the Var coast. Just one piece of advice: it's highly recommended to book in advance!

The bouillabaisse is a true masterpiece!! Congratulations!! The other dishes were perfect too!! Fresh ingredients and expertly cooked.
The Baked Alaska is a real treat in itself!

Okay, the only small point for improvement would be the "aging" of the dining room. A little refresh would be perfect.
