Restaurant Le Repere des Sorcieres sur Haguenau

This is an experience we won't be repeating. We had a group of 36 people booked three months in advance and had been in contact with the owner, Christophe. We had reserved the menu: salt beef. First disappointment: no welcome from the owner, the least he could have done. But apparently, he preferred to finish his meal rather than greet us. His customer service was nonexistent. I'd even say he was rather indifferent. Then came the meal: the salt beef was tough, rubbery, and very sinewy. It was like beef or cow that had jumped over the fences. To top it all off, no thank you, as the owner must have been very tired and absent-minded, just like he had been from the start. If there are ghost customers, this was the ghost owner. On the plus side, the waiter was friendly and very approachable. The moral of the story for groups: steer clear and go somewhere else. Even as a couple, we won't be returning. This place is now on our blacklist.

The restaurant was full but only 2 waiters were available, otherwise everything was ok. Good value, nice spot, free parking lot. Takeaway available as well

We first visited this restaurant about three years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it at the time: delicious food, efficient service, and a pleasant atmosphere. It was always a pleasure to return. However, since the recent changes, our experience has been very different. On our last visit, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food, which is far too long, especially without any clear explanation or apology. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is still decent, but such a long wait spoils the experience. We hope the service will improve, as this is a place we used to love.

What a pleasure to rediscover this restaurant! The change is radical with the new chef at the helm: the dishes are excellent. The waitress's welcome is top-notch, friendly, and efficient. Congratulations on this wonderful improvement!

We had a family meal and we were very happy with it. I'm only giving it 4 stars because there were vegetarian options and the portions were really insufficient.
