Friendly welcome, fast service, great because with a 2 year old. Excellent value for money. And once again the omelette from the children's menu was excellent. Thank you to the team for this meal

We had a good experience in this unpretentious, family-run place. Don't expect the food to be haute cuisine (everything comes with fries!) and don't expect romantic slow dining, but for a quick, casual bite, this place will do just fine. Prices are low (20€ for a three course meal) compared to other restaurants in the same street so it's a fair deal in the end if you're willing to compromise on a few things. The best dish on the menu is without any doubt the lamb, you won't be disappointed. Try some of the local beers too. Service can be a bit chaotic at rush hours, but it's all part of the casual vibe.

I recommend, warm welcome, simple but perfect cuisine, plates garnished just right, perfect seasoning, very affordable prices, even the coffee is good!

I don't understand the reviews. Indeed, fast service, pleasant staff and very reasonable price quality. The Roquefort sauce is killer. I recommend.

14/09/2024: Où déjeuner dans un lieu si touristique fréquenté chaque jour par des milliers de visiteurs. C’est très difficile ! Cela ne sera pas chez la Mère Poularde avec des omelettes aux œufs d’or (vu le prix de l’omelette, il n’y a pas d’autres explications). Ce sera la Vieille Auberge où j’ai pu trouver un très bon service, plutôt sympathique, une nourriture, certes moyenne mais tout à fait honorable. Donc, un choix, ma foi, correct et un déjeuner sans regret. Jean-Michel

10/01/2025: Authentic and warm inn. Whether for a drink (delicious mulled wine) or to have a meal, the staff is available and friendly. Favorite for lamb and cheeses! The quality and welcome are there. Nice meeting with Cyrille who knows how to take care of each customer and tell the story of...
10/01/2025: We had dinner the first evening because it was the only place open to welcome us after 8 p.m. and we were not disappointed. Particularly with the warm and very professional, fast and efficient welcome from Cyrille. We wanted a light dinner and the fish soup as well as the omelette were of very good quality without forgetting the plate of very good quality cheeses (I have been a professional cheesemaker for five generations and I know what I am talking about). As a result, we went there three times the following day and had dinner: very good onion soup and rack of lamb from the salt meadow, I think. In any case excellent and always with this gentleman (Cyrille) at the top. I understand the prices given the location and it is far from being shocking contrary to what I have read in some reviews. We will come back with great pleasure and more! N thank you Cyrille and thank you to your teams
