Restaurant Le Saint Nicolas sur Megeve

A lovely time at Le Saint Nicolas: the Sharing Menu (see photo) featured perfect Arctic char and turbot, meltingly tender lamb shoulder with accompanying polenta squares (see photo), and a Vin Jaune sauce. A success. The cheeses were of high quality. Dessert was a bit disappointing (the meringue was rather bland), although the fruit coulis was a welcome touch at the end of the meal. A chocolate petit four would have been a nice way to finish. The portions were well-proportioned. The service was impeccable. The open kitchen allowed us to watch the chef at work. A pleasant touch. We will return.

What a delightful surprise! We chose the "Sharing" menu for our table. The cuisine was refined, aromatic, and generous. From the black garlic butter (so tempting you had to resist eating it all!) to the blueberry floating island (a marvel of lightness), and the succulent turbot, among other dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was friendly and efficient, the presentation was beautiful—everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful time at Le Saint Nicolas restaurant. The staff is very professional and we received a very warm welcome. The menu is excellent, with high-quality dishes. I highly recommend it!
