A warm welcome accompanied by equally warm food.
This restaurant is definitely worth the detour, and all things considered, the prices (excluding wine) are very reasonable given the quality of the dishes.
Even the presentation is exceptional.

Hello, I had lunch yesterday. The dish of the day was duck confit.
It came with a small pan of vegetables.
What pleased me most was the size of the leg, which finally resembled something other than a chicken leg.
The service was very good. I wouldn't change a thing.

Superb welcome, the staff were pleasant and kind. The starters, main courses, and desserts were very, very good. For dessert, I highly recommend the cookie – it's amazing! I highly recommend this place!!

We came last night and, while the food was good, our overall experience was disappointing.
The welcome wasn't very warm, and we were seated in the conservatory, with a fire pit that only heated half the table, which wasn't very comfortable.
The service was a bit lacking: no wine was offered, and the meat wasn't cooked properly (although this was quickly rectified).
It's a shame, because the potential is there; the dishes are good, but the welcome and service really need improvement to match the quality of the food.

Lovely setting in a room with stone walls, which gives the space real character.
