Restaurant L'Ecrevisse Paris sur Paris

28/01/2024: Very nice place to have a drink in a Breton atmosphere. Top team. For a larger choice of craft beers you can cross the street and go to the brand's other premises. I loved the Cola Breizh...a souvenir of my distant visits to Brittany.

14/01/2024: I had reservations for 20 people two months in advance. We were told that we could put our sound there using the computer and plug in the sound system. We had planned a karaoke because it was written on Google that the bar was organizing it. The room was super well designed and furnished and the common areas including the toilets were clean for a Parisian bar! We were able to decorate the room to our liking by arriving there earlier and Yassine the waiter was super welcoming which made us enthusiastic. Only problem... 7 p.m. the sound didn't work at all in our room and the sound system was in the one next door... the boss wasn't there and we were promised that everything would be straight when he came back in ten minutes because he had gone to buy bread... 10 p.m.: the boss finally arrives, the atmosphere has changed...! We had just managed to put on our music only to be criticized within fifteen minutes for putting the sound too loud even though we had no access to the settings since we were in the next room. The bass was too loud and the sound was inaudible. The sound system is totally messing up! we were criticized (once again) for having changed the decor ("dropped frames"?) Even though we had done nothing but hang paper garlands on the walls without touching anything others and without leaving a trace. The boss complained "It's still the waiters as soon as they touch something they break everything". Nothing worked and despite the presence of a sound technician among our guests, we were forbidden to touch the sound system! we weren't allowed to sing before midnight (so as not to scare away the customers supposedly when they were all keen for karaoke because they heard us talking about it) nor to plug in our own microphone "because we're not at home We here" either... But then at midnight "we couldn't make any more noise for the neighbors! "So not singing either? So obviously we started to get impatient and it quickly became stressful to have to avoid having fun without having the impression that we were going to get yelled at. Finally: the projector overlooked an outdoor patio that we couldn't see from our room!... it was freezing and when around midnight the projector finally started: the music cut out. A gag. In the end, we had a good laugh because the punch had us totally drunk, he was so loud. And we are good public and respectful people! But here too we were criticized for not consuming enough alcohol when we even came to ask twice to lengthen the punch that hit us above the first glass for 5L to consume! QED I only recommend this bar number 9 for consuming drinks and chatting with friends. As for the kitchen I did not understand the difference between the mixed platters and the toasts because it is exactly the same thing that happened in the dining room. We would have liked to eat pancakes! The second waiter was grumpy despite our good mood. Too bad because the place is nice in itself and the waiter Yassine was dedicated but didn't really have the right to do his job freely. We swept everything up when we left and even put the chairs in both rooms on the tables out of politeness, but again we put a lot of pressure on ourselves because we had been made clear that we weren't there to have fun. The Breton spirit was lost! And I'm pretty sure I'm going to get tarred in response to this comment because the commercial side has obviously remained in the cider press! Too much stress on the management side which clearly harms the organization of the bar.
