Restaurant Les Bories sur Gordes

I had a wonderful afternoon at the hotel for my birthday present. The welcome was very professional. I started with lunch at the poolside restaurant. The manager and his staff were very friendly and attentive. The main course was delicious and flavorful, but the dessert, the Royal Chocolate with its crunchy layer of dark chocolate and praline, was absolutely divine! I had the opportunity to chat with the pastry chef, who is clearly passionate about her work. She creates perfectly balanced desserts, just the way I like them. Afterwards, I enjoyed some relaxation at the spa with an effective scrub and a soothing massage, both performed with care and high quality. Thank you for the warm welcome; I will definitely be back!

Exceptional hotel and spa, great service and location near Gordes

The grounds and the hotel are magnificent. We loved our stay. The only downside is the gourmet restaurant, which offers the same limited menu every night. So, if you stay three nights, you risk eating the same dishes. It's a shame because we had to look for a restaurant in Gordes in the evening, and parking there isn't easy. I highly recommend this beautiful, charming, and exceptional place.

The place is beautiful and the staff are friendly, but unfortunately their level of professionalism falls far short of what one would expect. Between order errors, oversights, and interminable waits, we definitely won't be returning.

Les Bories & Spa in Gordes is one of the most exclusive retreats in Provence. It lies about two kilometers outside the famous "most beautiful village in France" on a sprawling, eight-hectare estate filled with olive trees, lavender, and cypress trees. 🍽️ Culinary Delights: Gourmet Dining at a Michelin Star Level The hotel is renowned far beyond the borders of Gordes for its cuisine: • Gourmet Restaurant: The hotel's own restaurant, under the direction of Chef Pascal Ginoux, has been awarded a Michelin star. It offers modern interpretations of Provençal classics. • Le Bistrot: For a more relaxed lunch or dinner, there is a bistro serving lighter, yet equally high-quality regional dishes. • Pool Club: In summer, you can enjoy light salads and snacks right by the water. 🛌 Rooms & Suites The hotel has only 34 rooms and suites, ensuring a very private atmosphere. Almost all rooms have a private terrace overlooking the valley or the gardens. The style is a blend of modern design and warm, Provençal earth tones. 📍 Location & Excursions The location is ideal for exploring the highlights of Provence: • Gordes: Just a few minutes away by car (or a longer walk). • Sénanque Abbey: The famous abbey is practically "around the corner" (approx. 4 km away). • Nature: You can hike directly from the hotel into the typical garrigue landscape. My little insider tip: Even if you're not staying there, it's worth reserving a table for dinner on the terrace. The sunset over the Luberon Valley is spectacular from there.

Superb location, excellent service, room with everything you need. On the downside, the bathtub is a bit small, and there's no jacuzzi in the spa.

A very nice hotel in a great location, but the unheated outdoor pool and lack of poolside dining are a real drawback. The bedding in the room is of very high quality, as is the bathroom (queen room). However, the TV is far too small given the gap between the wall and the bed. The restaurant is superb, and the staff as a whole are very attentive and genuinely concerned with ensuring guests' satisfaction.
