Restaurant Les Fontaines sur Lanton

A wonderful time spent at this restaurant on its sunny terrace overlooking the pool. Excellent cuisine served by friendly and attentive staff.

We arrived early. The service was smooth. It was a bit crowded with the nice weather. And then the terrace filled up, and they had to put people inside the restaurant. Regarding the food, The appetizer portions on the menu were slightly small, and we were told the veal was cooked at a low temperature, which ended up being overcooked. The establishment was full, and we waited almost 40 minutes for our desserts. That's when we realized that the team preferred to serve customers on volume rather than quality. It's a shame because there were long waits at many tables, and customers left without eating. The place is very welcoming with a beautiful view, but there are some things that could be improved!!! Postscript: The cheesecake is very good.

Great view of the Bassin. I found the service a little limited. One of the servers had a somewhat limited or even overly familiar attitude... I didn't understand... The food is decent.

Apart from the service being a bit too fast (appetizers were not finished before the main course was served, barely finished before the desserts arrived), we ate very well, lots of flavors, really very well cooked. On the other hand, the desserts should be planned from the start because they are homemade. The servers are attentive. The view is superb, bring a cardigan in the evening because of the cool wind (but the restaurant provides blankets, which are great).

We celebrated a birthday 🎂, it was perfect. The food was excellent, the service impeccable. A magnificent birthday cake that was delicious. The view of the bay was very pleasant. We recommend it.

Le F des Fontaines is an excellent address if you want a good meal in a truly pleasant setting, with a beautiful view of the Bassin, fresh, well-prepared produce, and a peaceful but refined atmosphere.
