Very expensive drinks. Miniature desserts (3cm wide flan slices). Overcooked calf's head, probably from the day before or more because of loss of flavor, excellent vegetables and gribiche sauce.

Simple but effective and invigorating cuisine, friendly service, and ultimately quite good value for money for Avallon. While you'll always find better quality, it comes at much higher prices. There's a fairly wide selection of local wines by the glass.

26/09/2024: I stayed at the gîte during my stay, a quiet and relaxing place, the place has a large garden which must be pleasant on sunny days. Very warm welcome, good value for money meal. I recommend this place.
