Restaurant Les Marechaux Brasserie sur Avallon

15/04/2026: The food was quite tasty, well-prepared, and seasoned. Perhaps a little pricey for what it was. The downside that day was the wait, or even the fact that some customers were forgotten, as the number of staff serving was too low compared to the number of customers at the tables.

13/04/2026: We were familiar with Dame Jeanne d’Avalon in the past, but this time we met new people (due to a change of ownership). Gone is the slightly old-fashioned feel of Dame Jeanne’s former tea room and restaurant, where tourists and office workers used to flock at lunchtime to enjoy the owner’s homemade cooking… Now, a young chef is working in the kitchen, while his young partner, among other things, serves in the dining room and on the lovely garden terrace. A good first impression already; to be continued.
