I came yesterday at lunchtime with my partner. Initially, it was just for a drink during a break on our hike, but the warm welcome and the setting made us want to stay for lunch.
We were seated without a reservation.
The portions were generous, the prices very reasonable, and the plates were full.
The only disappointment: the unsalted butter—being from Brittany… 😉 All joking aside, a big thank you for the warm welcome!

A timeless moment on the sunny terrace of this mountain refuge. Directly accessible by cross-country skiing or hiking; if you're on downhill skis, you'll need to walk 10 minutes through the snow, but it's well worth it. Super friendly service, varied menu featuring seasonal and local ingredients. Unbeatable value for money. Special mention for the waffle with blueberry jam 😋 After your meal, you can enjoy a coffee in the sun loungers while taking in the view. Incredible.

Great restaurant. The food is excellent and cheaper than in restaurants in La Clusaz itself. The welcome is warm, everyone is smiling and it's contagious. However, be sure to book ahead!
