Restaurant Les Rives du Lac sur Veynes

Well arranged parking for camper vans and well located next to the lake, and a restaurant, very quiet, 6€50 for the night. Thanks to the Town Hall.

We discovered this campsite in 2010 and were immediately won over by the beauty of the place, the functionality of the facilities, the impeccable cleanliness and the kindness and friendliness of Hervé and Arnaud. We have seen it grow over time in size and services offered: today it is certainly one of the most modern, functional and hospitable campsites of our long career as travellers/tourists. Les Rives du Lac is the ideal place for a stopover or for a multi-week stay. The pitches are large and shaded, there are three very well equipped children's play areas, a library, three swimming pools, two of which are covered, an excellent restaurant bar, free bike rental, toilets cleaned three times a day, always hot showers. There are accommodations in bungalows and mobile homes for all needs. We recommend looking at the website which is very well done and describes all the facilities available well. And then there is the staff, always super friendly, prepared and available to help and give advice, making the stay truly pleasant. We now feel at home, every time. And so we have returned often and willingly over the years: in the meantime we have had two children who are always enthusiastic about leaving for Veynes. We highly recommend it to everyone.

Good morning We stayed at this campsite from August 12 to 19, 2024. We had a premium lodge and it was a great stay. A very warm and caring welcome, top accommodation with its private jacuzzi, master suite and summer kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The region is magnificent with many diverse and varied activities that will not give you time to get bored. Close to a very clean and secure lake. We definitely plan to go back. Very nice campsite on a human scale with lots of activities included for campers. On the other hand, a family campsite which is therefore noisy. 2 restaurants adjoin the lake and Uncle Camping. It's great.

Beautifully located campsite with recently renovated sanitary facilities. Spacious places. Cold water in the showers every day and there is no solution. Owner prefers to mow grass. More attention to such things and then it will be a beautiful place.

As many French people as our Dutch friends in this campsite which fully deserves its 4 stars. Ideal for athletes who love trail running, cycling or hiking. Also ideal for relaxing: lake or swimming pool this afternoon? All the staff are welcoming, smiling and attentive but never intrusive. I find that everything is well thought out in this campsite, the safe games for children, the super clean and functional sanitary facilities, all in an advanced ecological effort. We also appreciated the equipment of our rental, plancha, hammock,... Everything you need to really enjoy the slowness of your vacation. If you can, choose a location far enough from the parking lot. Last thing, be careful not to leave the clothes dryer near an automatic watering nozzle which starts at 5 a.m.

bel endroit au bord du plan d eau de Veynes.carte attirante par sa diversité,de la pizza aux specialités asiatiques..toutefois,le (jeune)personnel a beaucoup de mal a gerer la nombreuse clientele estivale...accueil trop long, attente de la commande frisant la demi heure,erreur de destinataires..la cuisine est correcte bien que sommaire..

Super nice and relaxed campsite on a lovely lake. Quite a bit to do in the area, but you have to drive a bit.

Un soir d'été aux Terrasses est une excellente expérience. Il y fait frais, la carte est variée, le personnel efficace, prix raisonnables et le parking est tout proche. En juillet mieux vaut réserver : certains soirs, il y a du monde. N'hésitez pas, c'est un bel endroit à découvrir !
