Excellent restaurant, a wonderful discovery! The service was quick and friendly, which makes all the difference. It was a Saturday lunchtime in the middle of August and yet it wasn't crowded, which was very pleasant. The set menus offer surprisingly good value for money, and the dishes are delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Special mention also goes to the impeccable cleanliness, especially the restrooms. Honestly, nothing but positive things to say; we'll gladly be back!

A rather disappointing experience. I ordered a pizza advertised as 33 cm, but it didn't seem to be that size, which is a shame considering the advertised dimensions.
The crust was far too thin, to the point that it broke easily and made the pizza difficult to eat properly. The toppings were very generous, but ultimately too much: this made the whole thing quite heavy and cloying instead of offering a better balance of flavors.
Despite the generous toppings, I wasn't really satisfied with the experience and was even left wanting more. The balance between the crust, the toppings, and the proportions needs to be re-evaluated to improve the quality of the dish.

My husband and I had lunch at À l'Essentiel and we weren't disappointed; it's a delicious restaurant, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There was no wait for service.

We had a wonderful family meal at L'Essentiel restaurant. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and we received a very warm welcome.
